Not the experience we were hoping for. Just returned from a 10 day holiday recommended by a friend, plenty of positives, arrived gone 10pm with 2 hungry children and was pleased to find the hotel has an all night restaurant Had an amazing first few days, hotel immaculate, friendly and hard working staff, big thanks to Ayish the maid, plenty of space around pools and slides, served quickly at all bars, pleasant experience at dining venues , we stayed in a spacious duplex on the Lobby floor. If it would have stayed like this we would definitely be returning .However after the first few days the hotel became absolutely rammed due to a new build hotel failing its fire certificate and so their guests were allocated here instead.Got the feeling the hotel was now OVER CAPACITY and as a result there was never enough sunbeds, long queues at bars, evening meal time was dangerously chaotic, it could take some time to find a table then to have it cleaned, queuing at different stations , waiting for drinks to arrive at tables, not enough seats at entertainment and so on .Could only sympathise with the under pressure staff We did make the most of the situation and the kids had a ball but this was NOT the 5 star experience we were hoping for.. .

Excellent stay at trendy Lara. We visited the trendy Lara from the 23/6 - 8/7 a 14 night stay. We really enjoyed our visit and we are returning next year. Many factors made this hotel for us, this being the attentive staff, incredible food, cleanliness and the excellent facilities made our stay fantastic. The hotel itself is stunning from the moment you walk in your made to feel at home by the staff who always greeted you with a smile and went above and beyond to facilitate to your needs. Food The food at this hotel was fantastic, we arrived in the early hours of the morning and there was still catering options for us served to a high standard. The breakfast in the main restaurant was superb we had no issue getting seated which was ideal with 2 kids. Around lunchtime there was several catering options such as the snack restaurant and a snack bar and the main restaurant was open during the day. Dinner times went smoothly for us but this mainly came down to the fantastic staff ensuring everything was in order and everyone was catered for. Plenty of choice in the buffet with everything being replenished regularly and the food being alternated every night. Food was absolutely delicious and definitely was a highlight of our stay. Rooms/cleanliness We stayed in room 3327 and 3329 in block 3 which was ideal for going to the pool and getting down to the restraunt. The rooms were kept exceptionally clean and were cleaned daily by the hard working maids. Rooms were spacious and the facilities in the bathroom were very good. Another thing was the drinks in the mini fridge were restocked each day with a variety of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages this was an excellent factor. Pools/entertainment The pools are stunning and are kept clean very easy to get a sun bed and sun bed wars are not an issue at this resort. The animation team were very good putting on fun games and were very inviting and friendly to the children. The entertainment at night was fabulous with several different entertainment options each night. Staff All staff were wonderful however special mention to Sergey,Abdullah,Esrin and the maid who cleaned our room went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. Esrin really made meal times for us and sergey was excellent at the football pitch. Overall this is a fantastic hotel and deserves its 5 star status and we cannot wait for our return next year.. .

Cracking hotel. This hotel was a lifesaver. We booked an alternative hotel but were let down savagely by our holiday provider (tui). Arrived late, but they have you covered with an all-night restaurant doing a buffet until 2am and then an early breakfast until 7am (they serve drinks also). We had 4 rooms booked at the original hotel altogether, and they did the same here. The pools are great, but they could do with more steps in, and they are all 1.4 meters deep, no slopes. The food hall is hectic, but the food is excellent (the outdoor kebab house rocks) I know it's not just here, but the staff make this hotel what it is. They are an asset to the hotel. Bring good sliders, flip flops as floors around the pool are HOT and slippery when wet. Pool towels are provided Hairdryer in room The beach is a great alternative to the pool if you want a bit of quiet. The beach is sand, and the slope into the sea is pebbles Hope this helps . .

We had a terrible experience at this resort!. The hotel staff are unhelpful, unfriendly and communication is a real struggle here due to their lack of English. We didn’t get fresh bed sheets everyday, the cleaning staff just made our bed for us and even hid the bed over sheet from the night before in our cupboard. I was flabbergasted at this considering it’s a 5 star resort we were staying in. One morning, I asked one of the cleaning staff for an extra bathroom towel — she acted like the apocalypse had come and refused. I have never experienced such terrible service. On a separate day, we noticed how one of the bathroom towels had a burn mark and hole in it. Entertainment here usually carries on until very late hours of the night. It is very difficult to get any sleep and rest as the loud, thumping music projects all around the hotel and into the rooms. Upon arriving, we weren’t shown to our room (once again, this is supposed to be 5* service). I double checked that there wasn’t any alcohol in our mini bar with the reception staff before we first entered our room, as this was a written request I had made prior to booking. We were told, “Take it out yourself”. We also asked staff to ensure no alcohol was stocked up in our room throughout our stay. However, our request was ignored and we had to tell them three times about this. I would strongly advise any religious families not to book your stay here. It is an incredibly boozey atmosphere with alcohol on tap just about everywhere— you will see dirty, half drunk beer glasses in the corridors and outside the lift for instance. The positives: The decor is nice, the rooms are spacious and the food is good.. .

I question the people rating this hotel!!. I don’t know who is writing these reviews to give this hotel a 4.7 ! I feel cat fished!! Absolutely not a 5 star hotel, the only good thing I care to say is the staff around the villa pool are lovely! As are all the cleaning staff. Buffet food - basic, boring! The huge raw meat display in the buffet! 🤢 Ala carte- all ok, but should be better when your paying extra €30 pp! Cheaper to go out the hotel! We upgraded to a villa garden so it has a private pool for just these guest, without this I would have moved hotels! The main pool is elbow to elbow and you’re lucky if you get a bed! I’d say the hotel is 10 times too big for the facilities. Drinks queues 15 minutes long, that’s a lot of time out of your day if you’re going up multiple times. They have started putting beds on the grass verge of the paths!!! Forget watching the entertainment, if you’re not there 2 hours before it starts then forget even getting a spot to stand and watch. No air con in the gym! I asked 3 times to have it looked at, no luck, hard to workout in 30 degrees! I could go on… Also I know it’s a hot time of year but the charcoal coloured tiles around the pool are like lava!!! The amount of towels round the edge of the pool do people can get out without 3rd degree burns was a joke, simple runners would help as the amount of people, kids that got caught out and have to start running for shaded ground! I know I sound trivial but it was annoying putting your sliders on to walk to the pool every time! Small things matter too like waiting for our transfer and the lobby bar wouldn’t give my 7yr old some crisps as it wasn’t time!! So I had to walk to the pool! I mean why?? It’s all inclusive for f sake! Gets my goat, anyway don’t come! Ps WiFi is shocking! Everywhere!!. .

Book Liberty or Tui Blue/Sensatori instead. This hotel is not a 5 star hotel, if you have previously stayed in a Liberty hotel, or Tui Sensatori/Blue, you will be very disappointed. Staff are unhelpful, they are not attentive and do not try to help. Queues to get drinks at the pool bar, all day! The waiters on roller skates are very rarely around to serve, even if you are tipping. Drink cups do not get taken away, and quickly build up, making it look quite scruffy around the pool. Guests reserve sunbeds very early in the morning, and this isn't monitored. The main restaurant at meal times is chaotic! The food isn't the best, very repetitive! The kids corner has Burgers, Spagetti, chips on repeat for every meal, each day. The staff on reception do not seem to want to help, I had to ask them a couple of questions and they didn't seem to want to help. A positive to the hotel are the cleaners who clean the rooms, cannot fault them, and the gardeners who keep the grounds looking well kept. We will not be returning to the hotel, and will definitely be sticking to what we know for our next trip.. .

Nice resort, terrible TUI rep. We were meant to stay at another resort but were booked into this as a back up. Looks very nice, rooms are nice. One large pool 2 medium pools and one baby pool, Few water slides. Lots of food on offer. Staff are very helpful especially guest relations. TUI rep is very rude, unhelpful and inappropriate, rarely at the tui desk and when she is she doesn't want to help.. made some very rude comments to me on two occasions. There are shops, gym, spa, lots of bars, always food on even past midnight. Entertainment is good. Only downside is the TUI rep and the people who reserve loungers and don't use them till later in the day.. .

Burcu. Burcu was a blessing to our trip. She made us laugh, served us drinks and ultimately made our trip so much more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. Her smiley face and friendly demeanour was a pleasure for the whole family. If we return next year and she isn’t promoted it will be a disgrace! Everyone loved her, she was so efficient and graceful. Thank you Burcu you Legend xxxxx. .

Trendy Lara - Turkey 2025 (UK Travellers). Family of 4, we flew from Leeds Bradford on the 16th of July and returned home on the 27th of July… booked with TUI and paid around 6K (1 free child’s place in that price). 11 night stay, in the middle building (B) with a somewhat half decent ish view which was from a standard room balcony on the 5th floor. Let me start by saying, I had ZERO expectations on this resort, I’ve been to Turkey before and had a very bad experience when I was a kid, as such vowed never to return, HOWEVER.. I’m glad I did, whilst this resort isn’t the best and certainly isn’t the worst, I feel it is good for the money I paid, I’ve stayed in better but this place did what i/we needed, and that was to relax as much as we could (with 2 kids anyway) for 11 days. We usually travel long haul however after going to Florida in April, my Mrs couldn’t deal with another long haul flight to my preferred destination which is Mexico. I reluctantly settled on this one for the Mrs, our daughter (3) and son (9). FOOD Firstly the a la carte restaurants is extra, we ate in the steak house which cost me another €115, it was nice.. was it worth the money when you’ve already paid £6K, probably not but it was a break from the Buffet, so I was happy to pay it. We couldn’t get into the Teppanyaki or Sushi restaurant because it was full but if I could have done then I would have done. The buffet food is quite nice to be fair, whilst it does get repetitive, it is nice. The salads are nice and fresh and there are plenty of things to choose from, that said i did get bored of it if it quite quickly. Service during our first week was good, last 4 days.. hit and miss, capacity has ramped up since the UK school holidays have started, and it shows at times. Buffet is chaos at times and drinks service is now hit and miss due to capacity, we sometimes struggled to find a table, unless you went right to the far end of the restaurant. Drinks.. EFES on draught or bottles, BECKS in bottles then your usual soft drinks etc, local spirts mainly and a cocktail menu. Anywhere outside, whatever time of day then do expect paper cups or thick plastic cups (a cold lager tastes so much better in a glass right?). Pool bars/restaurants serve drinks as above, pizza, burgers, chips and kebabs etc. Ice creams are nice. There is a nice coffee place (not Starbucks standard) but it’s nice. ROOMS Plenty of space, 3 beds (2 singles and a queen I think), TV never worked (no signal) during our stay but never bothered to report it as I wasn’t bothered to watch Turkish and a Russian TV. A minibar is stocked daily with soft drinks, water and EFES. Toiletries replenished and rooms cleaned daily if you switched on the light which can be seen from the hallway, the cleaners then clean the room, if you don’t do this then they won’t be cleaned. There was no iron/board (there should be, it’s apparently a 5 star resort), I knew this by reading the reviews beforehand so brought a steamer, you do the same otherwise they will charge you to iron your clothes. Decent shower etc, a couple of sinks in the bathroom and a separate toilet area. The air conditioner is set to a preset temperature (at its coldest) by the resort, the fan speed can be changed in the room as well as the need to switch it off, however given it’s been up at 45 degrees, it stayed on (leave your 2nd key card in the slot near the door and it will stay on all day). The rooms are decent and beds reasonably comfortable. POOLS Firstly, an adult yes and adult took a **** in one of the pools whilst we were there, trust me, I saw the rush from the pool and the floater oh and the life guard fishing it out with a landing net, the pool was quickly closed for the day and I assume cleaned for the next day. There are 3 main pools, 1 kids pool (splash park), water slides (6?) and a pool for the suites and villa guests (I did view a suite, more on that in a bit). SUN BEDS The first 7 days we never struggled for a bed, that said you do have to get to the towel hut for 8am to reserve a bed, but there was plenty to choose from, I HATE doing this BUT if you didn’t you may of struggled, the last 4 days of our stay, all the beds around the main pools were taken and reserved, we spent all our time around the kids pool which didn’t open until 10am, as such we got our beds. REPEAT: YOU NEED TO GET TO THE POOL AREA FOR YOUR BEDS BEFORE 8AM. This place will be carnage for sun beds during the UK school holidays, well it is.. I’ve seen it, god knows what time people are getting up in a morning to reserve them, same custom towels on the same beds morning after morning. RESORT GROUNDS The grounds are well maintained, the main floor where the lobby is nice, it has a big seating area which is nice to sit and have a drink. UPGRADE I did enquire about upgrading to a suite on arrival, they offered one for €1450, I declined until I saw the room, whilst the room was nice, it wasn’t anymore special than the standard room we had, you did however have your own terrace, with sun beds and direct access to your own pool (shared with other guests in a suite or villa), you had your own restaurant and bar but that was it, I went back to the reception desk and offered €1000, this is what I could see in the upgrade, they wouldn’t come past €1200 so I left it, I’m glad I did in all honestly as on reflection it wasn’t worth it as we would have still been coming to the splash park for the kids daily. If it was just me and the Mrs then for some extra quietness, conveniently located bar/restaurant and a quiet pool I would have definitely paid it. NOTE: staying in a suite or villa does not get your any extra perks to the a la carte restaurants. WOULD I RETURN? Possibly, depending on price and time of year, this isn’t a luxury 5 star resort, it’s good but it’s not Caribbean standard, it can’t be it’s in a Turkey but like I say it’s nice and for the price I paid I cannot complain. I’m due to stay at the Cornelia Diamond on a Golf trip this November and next September so I will have another Turkish resort to compare it to. The weather has been lovely, the holiday was much better than I expected, because like I said at the start of this review, I did not want to come here (I didn’t tell my Mrs that though). All in all, we enjoyed our stay 🇹🇷. .

4* resort at max. Overall visit 3/5 due to bad experiences.. Overall it was a great resort, plenty of choice for food. Vegans may struggle, as my parents were vegetarian and they struggled most days. Some chefs are accommodating.. I.e. they will make you your own pizza with the veg you want on it, some didn't want to be there. Plenty of things on the grill from fish, to lamb and chicken. Breakfast - good choices from your usuall sugar boosted stuff to healthy salad and eggs. We had a poor experience at the snack bar on two occasions. They keep the desert waffles pre-made from the toaster and provide you with cold ones, or re-heat them. On two occasions we requested hot ones, and we were met with an aggressive attendant who initially refused, and then carried on making them abruptly, throwing her weight around with the utensils and slamming things - not what you expect if you pay nearly £10k for a holiday with a family of 7. The waffles take two minutes, why pre-make them? And then kick up a fuss when people dont want to eat stale ones. Disgusting behavior. This was reported to management, and we received the usual response. At least they acknowledged it. When we spoke to a supervisor at the snack bar, their excuse was that she was training! Swimming pools were great, although they could have done with a toddler pool, like 20cm, or 40cm deep with some shade. DO NOT GO ON THE BLACK AND WHITE SLIDES. They are dangerous. I sent my son on it and he entered the other lane whilst coming down and hit his head. The middle section is way too low to support this. I went down second, and my leg ended up over the other side. Most days only one lane was open, clearly because of this. Some days it was completely closed. It is dangerous, you've been warned. The rest of the slides were okay. Now, the kids waterpark..there's a section literally taped off with what looks like plastic masking tape. This is due to the rope bridge having a hole in it. This is easily bypassed by the kids. This again is dangerous and should be closed off properly. The resort quality itself isn't too bad, 4 stars at max I'd say. They dont provide irons, you have to pay for laundry. Generally clean. However our rooms were met with other people's hair from the cleaning mops they use on a daily basis. The staff barely speak English, so keep it simple. Strange when most people who visit are British. . .
