Would recommend the hotel but only for a short stay, maximum 2 nights.. The facilities are really nice, our room was beautiful, and the hotel it is very well located, only 5 minutes walking distance from Alaçati centre. Also, there are dozens of kittens in the garden and they are just lovely.. Overall, our stay at the hotel was pleasant. However, we encountered several issues that spoiled the experience:
-Despite being marketed as a “wellness hotel,” there was loud music playing in the garden from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m., which was perfectly audible from the rooms.
-The staff’s English proficiency was very limited, making it difficult to communicate even basic requests.
-During our four-night stay, our room was not serviced a single time. We even had to request additional toilet paper from the reception ourselves several times.
-The pillows were uncomfortably high and hard. After a restless first night, we requested softer pillows, but were told this wasn’t possible.
-On our final day, we needed to check out early and asked if breakfast (which we had already paid for in advance) could be served just 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. While it’s understandable that this wasn’t possible, the staff’s response was quite harsh and unfriendly.
-Food at the hotel is very low value and the breakfast menu doesn’t make any sense. Some of the meals were just ridiculously bad..
